I was thinking about my debt-free journey today, and God revealed to me many misconceptions I had about this journey. I thought it would be easy to pay off, that it would take one year to pay off, and that I would be happier or [insert adjective] when I finally got out of debt. And while I’m only a third of the way to financial freedom, I thought I’d share some things people don’t tell you when paying off debt. I hope you enjoy.
