Hello everyone!
I tend to go through two cycles when it comes to this blog; I’ll write a lot for one period and then be ghost for another period. At one point, I wanted to monetize my blog, so I planned to write at least one blog a week. I quickly found out that I didn’t have enough to write about each week, and that was okay with me. Then COVID-19 hit and I found it hard to talk/write about some of the things that I loved to talk about — like budget traveling, finances, and foodie adventures. Now that we’re two years into this pandemic, I’m trying to get out there (in a safe manner) and really enjoy life again.
For those that have been with me for some time, thanks for your support and patience while I try to find my voice again. And if this is your first time on my blog, thanks for stopping by…I hope that you stay and see what I have in store.
Allow me to re-introduce myself. My name is Britt, and I am a 30-year-old Christian living on the east coast. In 2020, I paid off my student loans #ptl and have been learning how to invest for my short-term and long-term goals. I love traveling. Before the pandemic, I took a solo trip to Barcelona (places, food, planning posts here), made multiple day trips to NYC, and visited Tulsa, Oklahoma to see one of my favorite pastors. I also love food; I love learning about how food is made, cooking food, and most importantly, eating food lol Nowadays, you can find me going everywhere with my puppy, reading a book, and working on my side hustles. Oh and I almost forgot, I will be going to law school part-time in the fall.
Whew! I think that’s about it for now. But if you’re new (or want to get reacquainted) then check out some of my previous blog posts. Make sure to subscribe to the blog for more content, comment below on topics/questions you want me to write about, and share my blog with your friends.
Love,
Britt ♥
