Hey everyone! Sorry to keep you waiting for a new post, but I have been engrossed in The Black Panther movie. I'm no Marvel fan, but last year when I saw who was cast in the movie (i.e. bae Michael B. Jordan), I knew I could not miss watching it. Fast forward to its opening week, I…

In a time where reality shows and competition shows floods the airwaves, Black Mirror offers a breath of air; each episode creates constructive conversations. In their episode, "Hated in the Nation," I found three lessons on the power of our words. Click here to continue reading more.

Everyone likes an underdog story. The Philadelphia Eagles were the underdog team even before the Super Bowl, and now they are Champions. Keep reading as I talk about my start as an Eagles fan and share pictures from the celebration parade.

Homemade chicken Alfredo...8 eggs, 7 cups of flower and 5 hours later. Why didn’t anyone tell me how long it took to make homemade pasta. Also, if you have any tips for making pasta, please let me know because I know I messed something up. But otherwise, not bad for my first time. #homemade #homechef #pasta #chicken #alfredo #dinner

Gas cash envelope was running low ($23), but it only cost me $19 to fill up 🙌🏽 So happy that today I get paid because I get to stuff some more envelopes! Do you use cash envelopes? If so, what do you use your cash envelopes for? Don’t have cash envelopes or want to know more about this system, click the link in my bio. I’m continuing my pantry and freezer challenge, inspired by @ourtribeofmany. I found some chicken breast in the freezer, we had a couple of heads of cauliflower in the fridge from last week, and I picked up some zucchini at Walmart. So the only thing I bought for this lunch was the zucchini #winning —— Chicken was seasoned with a poultry spice blend from @spicesandtease I riced the cauliflower and seasoned with: salt/pepper, dried oregano, garlic, butter, and lemon juice. Zucchini was simple, just sautéed in olive oil and seasoned with salt/pepper _____ #freezerchallenge #pantrychallenge #chicken #cauliflowerrice #zucchini #homechef #lunch #mealprep #foodphotography #healthy #food
Sometimes blessings come in disguises. When I was living on my own, I really started to grasp the importance of being financially savvy. First it started with creating a budget for groceries, then using cash envelopes, and now trying to pay off my student loan. Never would I have imaged that I would be selling cash envelopes; but it made such a difference in my life that I wanted others to know about it. So if you don’t know about the cash envelope system and want to get serious about your finances, comment below or DM me...and if you do, I’ll give you $2 your first order. #cashenvelopes #cashenvelopesystem #etsy #etsyseller #etsysellersofinstagram #money #finances #budgeting #savings #studentloans
New products in my Etsy Shop. First are hole-punched cash envelopes that you can put in your planners. The other new product is a larger envelope that you can place any type of flat paper, such as receipts or pictures or your regular sized cash envelopes. If you’re interested in buying a couple for yourself or a friend, just out my Etsy Shop, the link is in my bio. You can also search for my shop on Etsy, My Attempt At Adulting. Tell me your thoughts. Are these new additions to the shop something you’ve been wanting to get? #etsy #etsyseller #newproducts #cashenvelopes #cashenvelopesystem #debtfree #debtfreecommunity #debtfreejourney #sidehustle #A5 #Agenda52 #personalplanners #financialplanning #filofax #money #savings
